So, these pictures were taken at Texas! Right after MD&M West, we visited Texas for business purpose. TEX-MEX food was awesome!!! We had it every dinner!!  And here is some city photos and stores we visited. Texus? Cowboy? Yes, you are right!

We sent these huge items out to our Taiwan branch few weeks ago. Each item is 54kg!(120lbs!) and there were 2 items. It was very heavy and 3 adults were needed to carry them. I was totally fascinated seeing this huge item and also wondered how these huge items is going to carry away overseas...(Yes, physically it will be via airplane and vehicle of course...) We had an opportunity to participate retirement ceremony of Dr. Cheng-Chung Lee PHD at National Central University. He is the Taiwanese foremost authority in optical thin film filed. There were large number of professors, business leaders or researchers for this ceremony and friendly and warm atmosphere. We were glad to be there.

In countries of Chinese cultural sphere, July 15th of Chinese calendar is Ghost Festival (中元節), and it is considered as the most important day out of three major sections (三大節).It is a day for praying (拜拜). July in Chinese calendar is considered as spirits of ancestors returning to this world from afterlife world due to gate opening during the month. Taiwanese people prepare table in front of offices or stores, and place fruits and sweets on it. Then, burn the incense stick and afterlife money and pray for the spirits to quench. We adopted Taiwanese manner and custom to pray as well. We hope to expand our business in here and we will keep it up. Thank you.

Our office in Taiwan located in Taoyuan County. While I was walking around the open market nearby office, I saw Butokuden (武徳殿). Butokuden is the place to teach Japanese martial arts like JUDO (柔道) or KENDO (剣道) to Taiwanese police officers during Japanese occupation. Nowadays, Butokuden has been used as public hall and people has been prepared for sort of small concert or something on the day. I sometimes notice some of Japanese culture in Taiwan.

In June 13th, 2015, we held BBQ party at our factory in Niigata. This is annual gathering! There were a lot of good food!! Meat!! Seafood!! and more Meat!!!!! Kids were going to town for their marshmallow!!! We all know what's their favorite!! LOL
